Hello, thar. If you’re a new subscriber as a refugee from Twitter, I say Welcome. You are safe here.
Like many longtime Twitterers, I’m planning on staying there until it becomes intolerable (which could happen any moment), because the network of friends I’ve built there will be so hard to replace. But I’m taking actions to make as soft a landing as possible, signing up for newsletters for content I’d ordinarily seen on Twitter, and exploring nascent social media platforms.
This week’s comic takes place in Chagrin Falls, USA: “Last Call,” in which Gavin Smythe gets an urgent message from the future!

Tom the Dancing Bug is the wildly popular, groundbreaking comic strip that Mark Hamill called “wondrous, whimsical, and witty,” and that led Seth Meyers to recently write, “The fact that Tom the bug can keep dancing in this day and age is a testament to Ruben Bolling’s skills as a cartoonist!”
