This comic from last year got some new online attention last week, as it seems to have resonance now.
—
On a lighter note, I thought I’d share this delightful comic book that I found online. As I wrote when I posted these images on Twitter:
“In 1949, kids were so ravenous for television, there was a comic book that was about children watching TV! Every comic story was framed by a story about bunch of kids sitting in front of a TV to watch it.”
The story starts…
And it concludes…
I can’t wait to read about the hilarious adventure those television-watching kids will get into next month!

This week’s Classic Tom the Dancing Bug (published on GoComics yesterday) is “Lucky Ducky, in ‘State of Denial’” (from 2014).
—
And this week the GoComics Super-Fun-Pak Comix page has featured comics from this installment (from 2008).

Here is a picture of Otis the Wonder Puppy after a bath.
Yeah, he’s not the easiest guy to photograph in that state.
So here’s the deal. Otis has instructed me that unless more than 20% of the recipients of this email hit the Share button below, and share this Newsletter in some way, he will again not allow an actual photo of himself to appear in this Newsletter next week!
Hit the Share button, people! 👇 I want to post a good photo of Otis again…
Fingers crossed until next week,
Rb
