How's your Climate Change Catastrophe season going?
Plus: The REAL cause of inflation, revealed!
As Hollingsworth Hound would say: Grrrrr!
This was accidentally posted and mailed out a day before it was supposed to.
Now I’ve got to write up a report and explain why it went out on Thursday instead of its usual Friday posting to the Tom the Dancing Bug shareholders…

As previously announced to the Inner Hive, I'm slated to be a "Special Guest" at the Small Press Expo comic convention in Bethesda, MD on September 17 and 18. Information is HERE, and I hope you’ll come by if you’re in the area — I’d love to meet YOU. I’ll be tablesitting, dropping pearls of wisdom in panels, mingling, gladhanding, pressing the flesh, etc….whatever else they have me do to (safely) earn my keep.
These times can be unpredictable, so in the unlikely event that there is any change in plans, I'll post updates at tomthedancingbug.com and on my twitter account.

By coincidence this week’s Classic Tom the Dancing Bug (published on GoComics yesterday) happens to be another comic from the Lucky Duckyverse: “PROS AND CONS,” featuring Hollingsworth Hound, and Lucky Duckella.
Especially proud of that title.
And of course Lucky Ducky and Hollingsworth Hound are the cover-featured characters in the brand new book collecting ALL the Tom the Dancing Bug comics from 2007-2011. By the way, you read that right: This is the only volume of The Complete Tom the Dancing Bug program that collects FIVE, not four, years of comics — for the same low price. We pass the savings on to you!

And this week the GoComics Super-Fun-Pak Comix page has featured comics from this installment (from 2017)
Please forgive the twinge of pride I feel when I remember a famous showrunner of popular TV shows tweeting out that first comic when this first came out.

Here’s the 2017 comic that this Newsletter’s teaser image came from.
CLICK HERE for a list of entities that still deny that Climate Change is real. (Hint: it’s a very short list, and does not include major oil companies, who all have told their shareholders that Climate Change is very real.)
Okay, that’s it for this week. Stay cool, stay safe, and don’t insurrect, please.
Yours Indeed,
Rb

The Complete Tom the Dancing Bug program continues with its brand new addition:
Volume 5 - Tom the Dancing Bug: Eat the Poor (June, 2022)!!
TOM THE DANCING BUG: EAT THE POOR, VOLUME 5 IN THE COMPLETE TOM THE DANCING BUG -- 2007-2011. Clover Press’s Complete Tom the Dancing Bug program marches on with the fifth chronological volume (and third volume published to date), covering every installment of the award-winning (and two-time Pulitzer Prize Finalist) comic strip, from 2007-2011. This volume covers the years of Obama’s election and The Great Recession, with a particular focus on Lucky Ducky, "the Poor Little Duck Who’s Rich in Luck.” But the topics also range far from the political and topical, into waffle irons, drunk shirtless guys, and particle accelerators.
And of course, it also features Tom the Dancing Bug favorites like God-Man, Super-Fun-Pak Comix, Billy Dare, Boy Adventurer, and Charley the Australopithecine. It also includes other comics Ruben Bolling created during those years: a Recession-themed comic created for Harper’s Magazine; and the legendary, insane Toy Story/Cormac McCarthy mashup he did for The Village Voice.
